After you got the movie/video file.

Convert it using DVD catalyst 3. (globalsettings->Conversion) Mark "Enable streaming for Mp4 files". (Globalsettings->Border) Choose "Fullscreen Stretch" (Also choose your mobile device... There's a lot to choose from).

When the conversation is done, just upload it to dropbox and enter dropbox from device... Now it should stream with a full screen & high quality video.

Help, I can get dropbox on both of my computers.
I downloaded the App for my new iphone 3gs, but my files will not open.
It reads unable to read file.

Great catch, well that some information at less. I don't know Dropbox Team, maybe a little shout out to your loyal customers letting us know what is up instead of us sitting on this thread for weeks b***hing about Apple. A little communication can go a long way in situations like this.

Hey everyone. I figured out what happened by reading the TechCrunch article about DropBox's 2 million users mark.

"Dropbox submitted its iPhone application in the middle of August. It still has not been approved. According to CEO Drew Houston, Apple rejected the application two weeks after submitting to the App Store, but since then they have fixed all the bugs, and re-submitted the app."

Since it normally takes 7-14 days to get an app response (from my experience), it all depends how long it took the folks to get the bugs fixed before re-submitting. Assuming it took them under a week to fix everything (with a rejection date of around Sep 10th), the app would most likely appear this week! Otherwise, I can't imagine it will be later than next week, unless there were some pretty hefty bugs.

Hi guys, Will we be able to attach a dropbox stored file into a mail? There's currently an app that does this, it is called OneDisk, it supports Box.net account but I couldn't make it work for DropBox.

Granted they haven't 'followed up' with this post... but they have posted about this on twitter { http://twitter.com/Dropbox/... }

I'd rather them keep up the awesome work with what their doing, and post various updates via twitter than try to follow every blog reply.. (if they had to choose)

Hey, Dropbox, you’re being just as opaque as Apple… what’s the status?? I’m positive you would have heard from Apple and had to re-submit by now, there’s no way it’s still sitting on the “to-do” list there. I’ve submitted apps before, it doesn’t take that long.

Did your app crash too much? Have the wrong ratings? Security hole? Memory leak? Plagiarize Apple icons? I would say Apple denied it for being too close to iDisk (which would be ridiculous), but they’ve approved MANY other cloud / server-based file access apps, so I’m sure it’s not the case.

Why can’t someone at dropbox comment on this?

Hey Dropbox staff, can you do me a favor real fast, can you please check your "Sent Items" and make sure your request actually went out. Maybe it's actually hung in someone email client and no one actually sent the request. Just a thought :-)

COME ON APPLE! Your iDisk app is safe. I am sure the drones who feel they need to pay $99 a year for your crappy MobileMe service will never figure out how much cooler (and cheaper) Dropbox is. You have nothing to worry about. Just hit that "APPROVE" button and get on with it.

Matter of fact I'll tell ya what Apple, you approve Dropbox this week and I will sign up for a Family Pack MobileMe account just to show my appreciation.

Yeah, what's the deal here? I've watched 2 other apps post to their blog that their apps were submitted after yours and they've both been accepted and on my iPhone for over a week now. I know Apple's review process is tedious, but it sounds like there was something wrong with the submission, since I'm sure the app itself would be allowed (I mean, after all, SugarSync and ZumoDrive have both been on there for a long time...)
